A few months ago, Alyssa was interviewed by Amore Magazine where she talks about Pharell Williams discovering her, In Love Again for the First Time, shooting her music video, crushing on Jackson Rathbone from Twilight (and being Team Jacob!), touring with Lifehouse and more. Check it out!
Singer/songwriter Alyssa Bernal, was just your average American teen growing up in Texas. She was a high school cheerleader who also had a passion for music and started to post clips of her singing covers of various Top 40 pop songs of today. All this seemed normal until superstar producer Pharrell Williams happened upon the clips and contacted Alyssa’s high school and what came next changed her life.
Alyssa was soon signed to Williams’ label, Star Trak Entertainment. She began work on her debut album, In Love Again For the First Time (Interscope Records,) that is set to be released in 2011. Her debut album goes beyond a hit name like Pharrell Williams behind it. The album was produced by Martin Terefe who has worked with such big names as James Morrison, Train, Craig David and Cat Stevens. He even produced Jason Mraz‘s last album. Alyssa’s new album is heavy with contributions from such talented singers as Pharrell Williams himself, K.T. Tunstall, and Jason Wade of LifeHouse. Speaking of Lifehouse, did we mention Alyssa just wrapped up her tour with Lifehouse and Kris Allen?
She just released her first EP and single titled, Cali, Cali, Cali.
What could possibly come next for this sweetheart songstress from Texas? An exciting 2011 when, In Love Again For the First Time is released and possibly a tour of her own.

I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year filled with joy, happiness and love. I hope you had a great time celebrating last night. Last year has probably been the best for Alyssa, with a tour across the USA, getting signed, an EP, recording an album and way more! In 2011, after her album comes out, I hope she can be known everywhere and become the next big thing. Who knows, maybe in a few months, everyone will be humming “Cali, Cali, Cali”? Site-wise, it’d be amazing to become official or to have Alyssa know about it during the year. We also strive to become the best source for her, along with exclusive stuff and a huge community of fans reuniting here. Thank you to all of you who visit us regularly already and we hope to see you again this year!
